Switch from Hevy.
Your workouts come with you. Export them from Hevy, import the file in Perdura, check what will be added, and keep training from where you are.
What comes across
Every workout in Hevy's export comes across as a Perdura workout on the same date:
- the workout's name, which becomes the routine name in your history;
- each exercise, under Perdura's name for it when it is in Perdura's library, so "Bench Press (Barbell)" continues as "Bench Press (BB)"; an exercise Perdura does not know keeps Hevy's name;
- every working set, with its weight (kg or lb) and reps;
- how hard a set felt (RPE), when you logged it between 5 and 10.
What stays behind
Some things in Hevy have no place in this import, and Perdura says how many it left out:
- warm-up sets, which never count toward progress;
- sets without reps, such as cardio or timed holds;
- your Hevy routines and folders: only finished workouts are in the export, so you set up your routine in Perdura;
- notes, photos, body measurements and anything else that is not a set.
How to do it
- In Hevy, open your profile, then Settings, and export your workout data. You get a CSV file. Hevy's menus can move between versions; the export is in its settings.
- In Perdura, open Settings › Data & privacy and choose Import from Hevy (CSV). The file can be up to 8 MB.
- Perdura reads the file on your device and shows what would be added, and what was left out, before anything is saved.
- Add it. If it was not what you expected, undo it straight away.
After the import
Your past sets show in each exercise's history and records. When your Perdura routine has an exercise with the same name, its next-time verdict (add weight, add reps or lower the weight) starts from your last Hevy workout of it, so you do not begin again from zero.
The import, the workout log and the verdict are free on every plan. The free plan has up to 3 routines and the food diary; Premium adds up to 14 routines, the meal planner and body measurements.
Import your Hevy history and log your next workout: Perdura tells you what to lift the time after. Free, no card.
